Amber Alert Issued for 16 Year Old Ohio Girl

The Fairfield Ohio Police Department issued the Amber Alert after the girl was apparently abducted on Friday morning.

Amanda Voelkerding, 16 yrs., blond hair, blue eyes, 5' 10", 160 lbs. was last seen in the Fairfield area Friday morning.

Police said was last seen wearing white or yellow trousers.

Police said they are looking for a black man with tight, curly hair and a thick, full beard. He was driving a small import vehicle, possibly a Subaru, silver in color, with Kentucky license plates.

Officials said the man was last seen heading southbound toward Interstate 275.
