Amber Alert Canceled for 6 Year Old Michigan Girl

Michigan State Police and the Montague Police Department canceled the Amber Alert Monday morning after the girl was found safe in Benzie County Michigan. There is no further information at thia time.

Katie Kay Allers, 6 yrs. white female, 50 lbs., brown hair and brown eyes. Katie has also has a lazy left eye. She was last seen wearing a blue coat with snowflakes, a purple shirt, pants, glasses and boots.

Police are looking for Greg Allers, 40 yrs., white male, 5'8", 190 lbs. with briwn hair and brown eyes. He is schizophrenic and the child is considered to be in extreme danger.

The suspect vehicle is a 1993 Chevy Blazer, with Ohio plates BC37MP.

Police say he was last in the Grand Rapids area and may be heading to the Chicago area.
