Amber Alert Issued for 3 Year Old Texas Boy

The Carrollton Texas Police department and the Texas DPS issued the Amber Alert on Saturday afternoon after the suspect attacked his estranged wife with a large knife Saturday morning before driving off with their 3-year-old son.

Carlos Humberto Alvarenga Jr. , an Hispanic male, 3 years old with black hair and brown eyes weighing 35 pounds.

The suspect is Carlos Humberto Alvarenga Sr. An Hispanic male with black hair and brown eyes. He is 29 years old, 5' 1" and weighs 125 pounds. He was last seen wearing a brown knit short sleeved shirt with white horizontal stripes Mr. Alvarenga is wanted on an attempted murder charge.

The suspect vehicle is a 1998 white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck with Texas license plate 27KNS3. The truck has a lowered suspension and chrome wheels.
