Amber Alert canceled for 5 Year Old Virginia Boy

The Spotsylvania Police Department and the Virginia State Police canceled the Amber Alert after the child was recovered safe and the suspects are in custody.

Tyron Atkins, 5 years old. He's three feet tall and 40 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red shirt and red shorts.

Police say Atkins was likely abducted by 32-year-old Janell Butler and an unknown black male, who is six feet tall and 220 pounds. He is wearing a black sweatshirt. Butler is a black female and is five-feet-five inches tall, weighing 170 pounds from the Richmond area.

They may be in a 1999 dark green Ford Winstar mini-van with Virginia license JXT-4820. They were last seen in the area of Ladysmith Food Lion about 10:30 a.m. headed south on Virginia Route 1.
