Amber Alert Canceled for 17 Year Old Nebraska Girl

The Bellevue Nebraska Police Department canceled the Amber Alert after the girl was found safe Friday afternoon. No further information is available at this time.

Kristen Leigh Ann Benavides was abducted in Bellevue Nebraska Friday morning January 30.

She is an Hispanic female, 17 yrs. with shoulder length brown hair and was last seen wearing brown pajama bottoms and no shirt.

Police are looking for Carlos Bautista, a white male, 5' 9", 135 lbs, 23 yrs.

They may be traveling in a white mid 80s Ford Escort with in-transits in window and possibly a University of Iowa sticker in a rear window.
