Amber Alert Canceled for 18 Month Old New Mexico Boy

The New Mexico State Police canceled the Amber Alert on Thursday although the boy Remains missing. It is believed that the suspect and the boy are now in Mexico. We will update this page with any additional information we receive from New Mexico on the ongoing search and investigation.

Justin Black, 18 months old. He has brown hair and brown eyes. No further description is available at this time.

The suspect is Ivan Villa. No description is available at this time.

Villa was last seen driving a 2000 model Ford Mustang, gray or silver in color, New Mexico license plate GBN805. New Mexico State Police say Villa was seen late Sunday evening driving along US-70 near Alamogordo, New Mexico. State Police cannot confirm how the mother died and say Villa is not the missing child's father.
