BSM Basic Safety Training for Seafarers (STCW) – Sea Survival Techniques

The Standard Safety Training held at BSM (Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement) Training Centre in Limassol Marina, Cyprus.

The International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW), calls for that seafarers be supplied with “orientation training” and also “basic safety and security training” which consists of fundamental fire fighting, elementary emergency treatment, personal survival strategies, as well as personal safety and security and social duty. This training is meant to ensure that seafarers know the threats of dealing with a vessel and can respond properly in an emergency situation.
