The State of Texas canceled the Amber Alert overnight (11-01) after the boy was recovered safe in West Monroe Louisiana and the suspect taken into custody. No further information is available at this time.
The State of Texas issued the Amber Alert Wednesday afternoon (10-31) after the boy was abducted in Tyler. The suspect is suspected in the shooting death of the boy's mother.
Lucas Calvert a white male 4 years old, with brown hair and brown eyes, 3' tall and weighs 30 to 40 pounds. He was last seen wearing a long sleeve blue sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and has silver caps on some teeth.
The suspect is James Calvert, a 41 year old white male, 5'9" tall, weighing 185 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Ther suspect vehicle is a light blue 2004 Buick LeSabre with Texas tag # DP4 G858..
