Idaho Amber Alert Canceled for 17 Year Old Boy, August 30 2012

The State of Idaho canceled the Amber Alert Thursday morning (08-30) after the boy was found safe at his father's (previously the suspect) home unharmed. Police are investigating the earlier claims that the boy had been beaten by the suspect and received serious injuries.

The State of Idaho issued the Amber Alert Wednesday (08-29) after the boy was abducted by his father in Boise. The boy allegedly suffered serious injury during an assault by the father and was last seen Monday at a residence in the 2200 block of Liberty Street in Boise, police said. The suspect subsequently cut off all communications with others. Police also said they may be traveling to Oregon or Utah and may have a female companion.

Lee Roy Center a white male 17 years old, with brwn hair and hazel eyes, 5'9" tall and weighs 165 pounds.

The suspect is Verdell R Daniel (AKA Ric Daniel) a white male, 44 years old, with brown eyes, hazel eyes, 6' tall and 217 pounds.

The suspect vehicle is a1996 Blue and silver Chevrolet C/K 1500 pickup with Idaho tag # 1A4C423.
