Amber Alert Cancelled for 3 Illinois Children

The Illinois state police cancelled the Amber Alert after the mother and children were recovered safe in St. Louis City, Missouri. We have Reports indicate that the mother and children left voluntarily, and the report was a false alarm. This alert will not count towards the Code Amber statistics.

The woman's name is Janice Christopher. Her children are ages 7, 10 and 11. We have no names for the children available at this time.

There is no suspect information available at this time.

The suspect vehicle is a burgundy colored Dodge Caravan with Illinois tag number 8447276.
