The State of Michigan canceled the Amber Alert late Saturday morning (6-20) after the boy and his mother we found safe. The suspect is in custody. No further information is available at this time.
The State of Michigan issued the Amber Alert Saturday morning (6-20) after the boy was reportedly abducted in Inkster earlier Saturday morning. The boy's mother, Carrie Clem, was also abducted and both are believed to be in extreme danger. Inkster is a suburb of Detroit.
Andrew Clem a 9 year old white male with brown eyes and strawberry blond hair.
The suspect is William Southard, a 30 year old white male.
The suspect vehicle is a 1998 Red Chevrolet Cavalier with tag number CAE-0781.
