AMBER Alert Canceled for 2 Year Old Arizona Boy

The State of Arizona canceled the Amber Alert Wednesday morning (08-26) after the boy was found safe in Phoenix. The suspect has been taken into custody.

The State of Arizona issued the Amber Alert early Wednesday morning (08-26) after the boy was reportedly abducted from his home in Surprise. The suspect reportedly assaulted the boy's mother with a knife then took the boy and fled in the listed vehicle. Surprise is located approximately ten miles east of Phoenix.

Xavier Garcia a 2 year old Hispanic male, 2 feet tall, weighing 35 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a green shirt with "tigger" and brown shorts. He has a scratch under his right eye..

The suspect is Michael Garcia, an Hispanic male, 20 yeqars old, 5' 7" weighing 114 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white tank-top shirt and brown shorts. He has a tatoo reading "Yolanda" on the left side of his neck.


The suspect vehicle is a 1992 white Toyota Paseo with Arizona tag number ADJ0820.
