Amber Alert Issued for 2 Year Old North Carolina Boy

4 suspects were arrested in the case. The father and child are still missing. The Code Amber tickers are deactivated per our policy.

The state of North Carolina and the Chatham County's Sheriff's Office has issued an Amber Alert on October 1, 2006 after the child was taken during a home invasion robbery.

Edwin Sanchez Gonzales, 2 years of age. He is three-feet tall, 25 pounds, black hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and a diaper.

The suspect is his father, Jorge Sanchez Aguilera. Aguilera is 29 years-old, five feet, six inches tall, 145 pounds, black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen driving a burgundy Ford Expedition. He may be headed to South Carolina where he has family.

Four armed suspects duct-taped the three occupants of the home, the boy's mother, his grandfather, and a teenager.
