Amber Alert Issued for 5 Year Old Nebraska Boy

The Lincoln police department and the state of Nebraska issued the Amber Alert on Thursday morning after the mother was severely beaten with a pipe and the child was taken.

Earl M. Hayes, 5 year old black male. He has black hair and brown eyes. He weighs 50 pounds. He has two silver capped upper front teeth and one lower silver capped tooth. He also goes by the name Troy.

The suspect is the biological father, Earl Madison Hayes Jr., an African-American man who lives in Topeka and was last seen wearing a white shirt and dark pants.

The vehicle is a green 1996 Ford four-door Contour with Kansas license plate UNU 381.
