Amber Alert canceled for 14 Year Old Indiana Girl

The Knox County Sheriff's Department and the state of Indiana canceled the Amber Alert early Friday morning after the child was located in Juarez Mexico and the suspect was taken in to custody.

Perla Hernandez, 14 yearold Hispanic female. She's 5 feet 3 inches tall, and weighs 105 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen at approximately 5:00 PM, May 1, 2006 at 700 East Old Highway 51, Wheatland, Indiana, and is believed to be in extreme danger. No further description is available at this time.


The suspect vehicle is a tan 2006 Nissan Maxima four door with Indian license plate number 49C3885.
