Amber Alert Canceled for Fifteen Year Old Tennessee Girl

The State of Tennessee canceled the Amber Alert early Thursday morning (05-12) after the girl was found safe in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee. The suspect is in custody and will face charges.

The State of Tennessee issued the Amber Alert Wednesday (05-11) after the girl was abducted in Chattanooga earlier Wednesday. The suspect is a registered violent sex offender. The suspect cut his GPS tracking device off and stole the listed vehicle then fled the area.

Monica Johnson, a white female, 15 years old, 5' 6" , 152 pounds with blue eyes and red hair. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie with Red Bank printed on it and blue jeans.

The suspect is Thomas Johnson, a 35 year old white male, 5 feet, 11 inches tall with brown hair and blue eyes and weighing 184 pounds. He has numerous tattoos and large gauge piercings in both ears.

The suspect vehicle is red 2010 Kia Soul with TN registration 990YVK.
