Amber Alert Canceled for 10 Year Old Florida Boy

The Tarpon Springs Police Department and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued the Amber Alert after the boy went missing on his way to school.

James Edwin Smith a white male, 10 yrs., 4'5", 111 lbs., with light brown hair and was last seen wearing dark blue jogging suit with yellow strips on arms and legs.

The child was last seen in Tarpon Springs Florida at Pinellas trail and Meres blvd. and is believed to be in danger due to the fact that a local resident is a convicted sexual predator.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Tarpon Springs PD at 727-938-2849 or dial 911.
