Amber Alert Canceled for 5 Year Old Florida Girl

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Hollywood Police Department canceled the Amber Alert after the girl was found safe on Tuesday afternoon. No further information is available at this time.

Elizabeth Lopez, 5 yrs. white female, 3'5", 40 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes was abducted in Hollywood Florida on Monday night.

Police are looking for an unknown white male, 6'1", 220 lbs., with gray hair and hazel eyes. He was wearing a white short sleeve shirt, a blue pullover or vest, black jeans and black boots. The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.

The child was abducted at gunpoint and forced to take a change of clothes that consisted of a blue t-shirt with a fish on the front, a long blue skirt and a white beach hat.

Police believe the child may be with grandparents Alicia Sylvia Iaffe DeLopez, age 62, and Edgar J. Lopez, age 71.
