Amber Alert Cancelled for 14 year old North Carolina Girl

The SILER CITY, N.C. police department and the state of North Carolina cancelled the Amber Alert early Friday morning after the girl and a suspect walked in to a police station in Siler City. There is no information on a second suspect at this time. The suspect named Durate is being charged with sexual acts on a minor.

14 year old North Carolina girl, 14 years old. She is described as Hispanic, approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 135 pounds, and having brown hair and brown eyes.

Marquez is reportedly in the company of Luis Durate, also known as Gonzalez Tellado Pedro Warren, a 21-year-old from Siler City. He is described as being Hispanic, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 150 pounds, with a tattoo on his upper right arm.

Marquez and Durate were last known to be traveling in Vallejo, Calif., and are believed to be en route to Siler City North Carolina. The car in which they were last seen is a 1997 two-door red Pontiac Firebird, with North Carolina license plate number SSA2270.

A second suspect, 49-year-old Gabriel Vasquez Altamirano, is believed to be accompanying them. Altamirano is described as a short, heavy-set Hispanic man with gray hair.
