Amber Alert Canceled for 8 Year Old Michigan Boy

The Livonia Police Department and the Michigan State Police canceled the Amber Alert after the boy's body was found at the bottom of a swimming pool early Sunday morning.

Christopher Albert McAvoy, 8 yrs., white male, 4'5", 80 lbs with blue eyes and blond hair. He was last seen wearing black shorts, a light colored shirt and no shoes.

Christopher is deaf and mute and unable to communicate. He needs medication daily.

There is no suspect information at this time.
