Amber Alert Canceled for 8 Year Old Florida Boy

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Greenacres Public Safety canceled the Amber Alert after the child's body was found in the nearby pond. There was no abduction.

Jared Mcguire, 8 years old. He is a white male 4 feet 8 inches tall. He is 65 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing gray old navy t-shirt with a bleu collar and blue jeans. He was last seen in the area of Forest Hill and Jog road in Greenacres. Jared is autistic and cannot speak.

The suspect is described as a white male with gray or dark hair, and a goatee. He was seen wearing a long sleeved multi-colored flannel shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers, and a black cap.

The vehicle is a dirty white 90's full size box Chevy van with a sliding passenger door and an unknown Florida tag.
