Amber Alert Canceled for 16 Year Old Texas Boy

The Dallas Police Department canceled the Amber Alert for the boy after he was reported to be home in Durango Mexico on Wednesday October 8. The boy's mother reports that he hitched a ride with a trucker from outside Dallas to El Paso after being dropped off by the suspected smuggler.

Was abducted in Texas October 7. According to Dallas Police the boy was being smuggled from Mexico into the US with Chicago as the final destination.

He is described as an Hispanic male, 5'8", 120 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing a blue polo shirt and blue jeans.

After arriving in Dallas the boy's father was unable to produce the payment for further transportation to Chicago.

Police are looking for a 1990 model double cab dark blue 18 wheeler with a white trailer. Possibly headed toward Chicago.
