Missing works in the background on the iPhone, Blackberry, Android and Palm in addition to other smart phones. Alerts published within North America are specific to the locale of the subscriber's phone.

I installed the free Missing app because I cannot imagine the fear and nightmares of having a loved one go missing in this increasingly crazy and hectic world. And I cannot imagine the joy I would get at being able to help alleviate that fear by reuniting someone. Sure I doubt it would really happen that I'd get this opportunity but if enough people had this then the evil among us would think twice about taking someone. You have to wonder if it would have prevented the horrific situations now in the news. Plus I have GPS Tracking, another GPS iPhone App from this company, which has totally changed the way my kids and I interact regarding monitoring their whereabouts.
