Amber Alert Canceled for 5 Year Old Queens NY Girl

The NYPD canceled the Amber Alert on Saturday after the girl was found safe. No further information is available at this time.

Destiny Mitchell 5 yrs., black, female, with black hair, brown eyes, 3'6", 40 lbs.

Was abducted in Queens NY on Saturday morning the 10th. She was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans with brown stripes and white Reebok sneakers.

Police are looking for Jeffrey Mitchell a black male, 45 yrs., with black hair and brown eyes, 5'6", 150 lbs. With a mole on his right cheek. He was wearing a black snorkel jacket with fur on the hood, black pants, a white t-shirt and gray and white sneakers.

The suspect committed a homicide and fled with the child on foot around 130th street and Liberty Avenue.
