Amber Alert Canceled for Unknown Missouri Girl

Columbia, MO Police canceled the Amber Alert after it was determined that there was no juvenile involved and no abduction occurred. This alert will not appear in the Code Amber Amber Alert statistics.

Unknown white female, about 4', 35 lbs. Columbia, MO Police say the girl was wearing an oversized t-shirt, shorts, but no shoes.

A man described as 5'8" , about 40 years old with a light beard was seen dragging the girl into an area known as Flat Branch Creek.

There are no descriptions of vehicles involved with this alert.

The incident took place behind a Hardee's restaurant on South Providence Road in Columbia, Missouri. Officials also report the man was referring to the girl as Sarah during the alleged abduction.
