Amber Alert Canceled for 7 Year Old New York Boy

The New York state Police and the Nassau County Police Department has canceled the Amber Alert after the boy and the vehicle were recovered. Reports indicate that the Amber Alert was a hoax so the Amber Alert will not be included in the Code Amber statistics.

Jordan Powell , 7 years 4 months old. He is a black male with black hair and brown eyes. He has Cerebral Palsy . He was last seen wearing gray sweatshirt, sweatpants, a blue denim jacket, white sneakers, and a blue children's place baseball hat.

The child was a passenger in a vehicle which was carjacked by 2 armed black males at Commerce Bank in Floral Park, New York. The males are armed with a handgun and knife.

. The VEHICLE has been identified as a Gray 4-door sedan 1999 Lexus GS4 with New York license plate number CRC2225. The VEHICLE was last seen traveling on Jericho Turnpike in Floral Park, New York.
