Amber Alert cancelled for 8 month Old Georgia Boy

The Georgia State Police and the Cobb County Police Department cancelled the Amber Alert after the child was recovered safe. The suspect is in custody at this time. They were found in North Carolina.

The Georgia State Police and the Cobb County Police Department issued the Amber Alert after the child was abducted on Thursday morning. The child was abducted from Marietta, Georgia.

Sergio Vargas, 8 months old. He's an Hispanic who has brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red shirt and red pants.

Crystal Vargas, 15 years of age. She was last seen wearing jeans and a brown blouse.

The suspect is Sergio Maya. He has black hair and brown eyes. He's a 21 year old Hispanic male Who is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. His head is shaved and he's considered armed and dangerous.

When the three left, they did not take any formula, diapers, or necessities for taking care of the child.

The child and his mother and suspect were last seen in a Red Pontiac, with possible drive out tags, and an unknown direction of travel.
