Amber Alert Canceled for 13 Year Old Kentucky Girl

The State of Kentucky canceled the Amber Alert Sunday morning (09-27) after the girl was recovered safe in Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin. The suspect was taken into custody at that time.

The State of Kentucky issued the Amber Alert on Saturday (09-26) after the girl was reportedly abducted in Owensboro earlier Saturday morning. The child is considered to be in grave or immediate danger. The girl and the suspect may be traveling to New York, Hancock Maine or possibly Florida.

Haley Dawn Willett a 13 year old white female, 5' 5", 102 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing Denim shorts and a white tank top.

The suspect is Archie Whalen, a 43 year old white male, 6', 200 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. He may have a mustache.

(Updated) The suspect vehicle is a red Ford Explorer SUV with Maine tag number 137RF.
