THE LORD OF THE SKIES
I feel like it’s time to have that talk.
Please.
Do you think I should enter the Witness Protection Program?
Because that’d be real serious, Navarro.
Aurelio did seek me out.
I don’t know if it was guilt or my resemblance to my father,
but he couldn’t deny we’re brothers.
I’ve known you for years, Amado, and you never told me
you were Aurelio Casillas’ brother.
Aren’t you going to say anything?
You think I didn’t hear what you said?
Explain all this because I don’t understand.
I don’t go through life talking about my family tree.
Especially when that tree is twisted and gnarled
and the branches dry.
There’s that damn bitterness again.
That’s right, kid.
This guy’s the same as his father,
and as you can see, he hasn’t gotten over being abandoned.
Get over it, Amado.
Only the weak blame their parents
for their own screw-ups.
I own up to my mistakes, and sure, maybe I resemble Aurelio
in my temperament,
but I would’ve never up by going on TV like he did.
That’s why he’s like this.
I just hope I get the chance to talk to him.
If we’re going to do something, it’s got to be now.
He’s having difficulty breathing
and his heart rate’s accelerated.
I’m afraid that his condition could lead to a heart attack.
We’ve got to think about who to call
before deciding on the best option.
No, not a hospital.
I couldn’t stand the guilt if he were nabbed because of me.
So you’re headed to Tijuana?
After Grandma’s all better.
I’ll have to convince her somehow.
I think tomorrow’s a good day to tell her.
She’s probably happy being with my mother.
And vice versa.
I think all of you should stay longer,
at least until your grandmother’s recovered.
Yeah, they really did a number on Grandma.
—-.
I like what you said before.
You really think you can calm the waters here.
Now that the Ramos brothers are making threats,
I’m scared they’ll do something to my dad.
And next week is the election.
Can you help me out with that?
You got it, coz.
I’ll make sure nothing happens. Trust me.
We’re family, aren’t we?
And wherever my dad is, this would make him happy.
Still no word on him?
Not a thing, but I’m glad you reminded me.
Let’s see if Greñas has heard from him.
What’s up, bro? How’s your grandma?
She’s doing so-so.
You got any information on my dad yet or what?
Nothing.
Vitaminas is checking the narco shops
and has deployed a bunch of people, but nothing yet.
Are you checking your facial recognition programs
and all the cameras and —-?
Yeah, all the time.
There’s always somebody, including myself,
watching those monitors, but nothing.
I’ve trained three other dudes and they’re working in shifts.
Sounds to me like you’re freeing up time to go party.
Don’t lie, I know you’re back together with Arelys.
Not quite, but we’ve got some important info
on what the Embassy is moving.
We’re just waiting for your dad to materialize.
Remember? What I told you about the Arabs?
Alright. Don’t let anything get past you.
Stay on the ball. Catch you later.
Damn, coz, it was my understanding
Aurelio’s the top dog.
Even the songs say that Death is afraid of him.
Damn straight!
It’d be awesome if one day the whole family
could get together.
You know, your whole family.
Everyone except your annoying little sister.
The kid needs someone to give her a good talking to.
What’s going on?
-I think you like my sister. -No way!
Like my mom used to say, it’s not like she’s Xochiquetzal.
Just don’t tell her that or she’ll kill you.
She ain’t half bad, and she’s got a nice body, but come on!
She’s not like you, coz.
You’re pretty and badass at the same time.
I really like you, coz.
Thanks, coz.
You drink coffee all day here. You’re crazy.
I’ll stick to chamomile tea,
though they’re not all that great for you either.
Where were we?
Oh, right.
I overcome my anxiety with Ismael.
Is that what Mexico City girls call having sex?
Of course.
Anything that’s pleasurable is welcome.
Plus, he helps me out with money.
What more could I ask for?
So you’re a visionary.
Aren’t you engaged?
Yes, but I’m not married yet.
Things will change after that.
In the meantime, I’m going to keep messing with him
so I can finish school.
What’s more, he’s a bobcat between the sheets.
A real magician.
It almost sounds like I’m recommending him to you.
Relax because even if you were, my standards aren’t that low.
And yet you’re very interested in him.
Me?
Nope. I was just making conversation.
Up north we say
never say you won’t drink the water
or you might just drown in it.
We don’t speak like that, so don’t exaggerate.
What’s so funny?
Just talking to this basic chick, Dad.
She’s Aunt Alba’s nurse.
I was just going to check on Mrs. Alba.
Good.
And your wife said I could have dinner here.
Excuse me.
What do you think of her, Dad?
She’s not being held against her will,
unlike the doctor.
No, not the doctor either.
They’re making a fortune off all this.
The truth is, I want them gone.
I like Aunt Alba, but I hate having to sit down
and eat with the nurse.
I want them to leave too.
But you’re right.
Your mother’s happy having her cousin here.
Yes, she is, and Aunt Alba is a nice lady.
She’s not like those others.
Though I guess family’s family, right?
Hold on there.
Your family is Diana, your mother, and me.
Get that straight, and don’t forget it.
How could I forget that?
What we must do is remain an honest family.
But it’s not what they’re interested in, understand?
I do understand, and you don’t have to emphasize it so much.
Yes, I do have to emphasize it.
The Casillases have scores to settle
that we shouldn’t have to pay for.
Honest people don’t make the kinds of enemies they do.
Come here.
Don’t stress yourself out, Dad.
My sweet girl.
I love you.
I’m being treated like a queen.
Thanks, Tete.
Thanks, Chepina, but like any good cook
you hung back to hear the gossip, didn’t you?
She’s leaving, Albita. There she goes.
Any word on Isma?
Nothing since he left.
I’m going to join my husband.
I leave you in good hands.
If you behave yourself,
maybe I’ll make you some coffee tomorrow.
Oh, come on!
What do you know about Ismael?
Nothing. I told you, ma’am.
He went into town or the city.
Or is there something else you want to know?
You like my grandson, don’t you?
I’d like it if he were interested in someone like you.
Yes, but like I told your niece,
why be with someone who could kill me tomorrow?
Any way you could give me a sedative
so I’ll stop thinking of all the nonsense
running through my mind?
Not knowing where my son is is taking its toll on me.
Please.
You ought to have something there.
I do, but I can’t give you very much.
Not very much at all, okay?
If it isn’t safe to be anywhere,
can you imagine what my life would be like
with your grandson?
Here we go, ma’am.
DEA OFFICES MEXICO CITY
Well?
It’s like I told you.
The first of three shipments of cocaine from Honduras
just arrived.
How? Air? Sea?
The first thing I have to do is speak to the top military brass
in Nicaragua so they’ll look the other way.
I doubt that’ll be hard.
They’ve got enough problems as it is.
And by the looks of it, your sacred revolution is crumbling.
This first shipment is arriving through the Honduran border
somewhere around the Coco River.
I need the exact coordinates to give Colon.
You can’t just leap into action or they’ll know I talked.
You need protection,
and I need to know how trustworthy you are.
I want the coordinates.
We know what we’re doing,
or will you keep underestimating me?
Yes, I guess I did.
You thought you could bribe me with certain favors?
Or that that’d be enough for me to free you
from the jackals in your revolution or from the Arabs?
No. I see that.
Never say never.
The truth is, I’m a bad boy,
and you, someone who makes my mouth water,
and it’d be a shame if we didn’t end up
going a few rounds in bed together.
Yum!
I do love to box, and I’m dying to find out how you smell.
I want to see you sweat.
Why don’t we first see how much information you can disclose?
After that, we’ll see what happens.
Another drink?
No.
That’s enough for today, Maldonado.
Alright.
Take care, cutie.
VENEZUELAN EMBASSY MEXICO CITY
Anything else, or may I return to my hotel?
I’m glad everybody else left.
Here.
This is yours.
There’s no need, ma’am.
I’m just doing what the colonel told me to.
Just following orders.
You and your damned chain of command.
Take it.
I’ve never been with a soldier.
You any good at giving massages?
Do they teach you that in basic training?
You know, they don’t.
They ought to.
Because with so much tension,
I thought that was amongst the favors you did for the colonel.
You interested in making even more money?
Don’t tell me you’re not a quick learner.
That’s one of the perks of the revolution, Isturiz.
You’re still in good shape,
not like your colleagues who’re in power,
who’ve gorged themselves to the point of bursting,
the pigs.
Of course, this would be our little secret.
The colonel and I don’t keep secrets from each other.
So if you want this to happen, I’m going to have to tell her.
I’ve never liked open secrets,
but with you I’m willing to take my chances.
Is that her?
I’m sorry, ma’am, but this’ll have to wait.
The colonel’s asking me to pick her up.
No. Keep it.
God’s actions are a mystery to all but Him.
Cheers, kid.
TEPITO MEXICO CITY
His heart rate’s over 100 beats per minute, Amado.
He’s at rest, which means this is bad.
His wound is bleeding. It’s infected!
He’s going to die.

Hello.
Hi, honey. How are you?
Hey.
What’s wrong? You sound upset.
Are you alright?
No, I’m not. I’m really upset.
You’re scaring me. Where are you?
Do I pick you up?
No, I’m on my way home. See you there.
Are you sure?
I need a hug. I need you to hold me.
Oh, babe… I’ll be here waiting.
Alright.
I’ll be there soon.
I’m going home, Tony.
And don’t worry. I’m okay to drive.
Can you escort me?
With pleasure, ma’am.
Thanks.
Three girls died from the first curse
and now it’s the five girls from the neighborhood…
Vanessa, I won’t let anything happen to you.
I don’t know what I’ll do to keep you safe,
but I won’t let anything happen to you.
I’m not scared of dying anymore.
I don’t care.
All I want to do before I die
is look Titi in the face and avenge Martina’s death.
Instead of wasting our time talking so much crap,
why don’t we think about what we can do to stop this.
I agree. So what do we do?
We have to find Laura.
Everything that’s happened is Laura’s fault.
She’s the only one who can tell us how to stop this.
Now do you understand why I won’t leave this place
without Carlos?
You see?
You want us to take him now?
Yes!
If we don’t want anyone else to die, we need to take him.
Fine, then let’s take him. Let’s go.
No, wait.
We need to pay the old man a visit again.
Why?
Because he knows something. I know it.
She’s right. It’s obvious.
No, but that man’s a walking c… corpse.
He can barely talk. What could he tell us?
Anything he can tell us will help.
Paola’s right.
Go with Jotica and Vanessa. Talk to him.
We’ll head to the mental hospital
so we can take Mr. Carlos home, alright?
Alright.
Let’s go.
Stop here.
What is it, sir?
So here’s the job.
I’m going to find Catalina. You do the rest.
You’re the killers.
Don’t worry, sir. We’re ready.
Where are we going?
We’re going to her mom’s place.
Catalina’s always there.
From there on, she’s all yours.
Yes, sir.
Catalina Santana, will you marry me?
Of all the women you could choose, why me?
Why me?
Because even though I’m a bad guy,
you know my heart and soul.
You’re the only woman I’ve ever mourned.
You know what I love?
When your tears and mine become one.
Look at me.
You’re the love of my life.
Give me five minutes.
Tony, thank you for being here for me.
It was my pleasure, Mrs. Catalina.
Aren’t you going to answer?
No, because it’s an unknown number.
I don’t answer those calls.
What if one of your friends
is calling from someone else’s phone?
You think so?
Hello.
Catalina, it’s Titi.
Titi?
Listen to what I’m going to tell you.
Hide your sister.
I don’t get it. What are you talking about?
It’s urgent. Hide your sister.
I heard you, but I still don’t understand.
Why do you want us to hide her?
I can’t talk right now, but one of the toughest narcos
just gave the order to kill her.
Please forgive me.
I forgive you.
You do?
Yes.
It hasn’t been easy, but I forgive you.
Look me in the eyes.
Now tell me that you forgive me and that you love me.
I forgive you and I love you with all my heart.
Someone gave the order to kill her?
Why are you telling me?
Because I owe you my life and because I love you.
Now we’re even, alright?
Thank you.
But tell me, who wants her dead?
Mexico’s number two. That’s all I can say.
Mexico’s number two? Who is it?
Give me a name.
I can’t say anything else.
His men are near. That’s all.
At least tell me when it’ll happen.
Today. That’s why I’m calling.
Protect her.
Today? Titi this is serious.
I’ll call you later.
No, wait!
At least tell me why he wants her dead.
Fine, you win.
I’ll tell you, but you can’t ask any questions.
I swear. It’s just me.
Because she won Miss Risaralda.
That’s impossible.
Life can be stupid.
We’ll talk later.
No, Titi! Wait!
Let’s go. Turn right here.
That’s a serious threat. What do you want to do?
Tony…
I’m going to have to do something I didn’t want to do.
I’m going to have to rejoin the TEA.
So call Miguel and tell him I’m back.
Hurry.
Right away, ma’am.
Yes, ma’am.
I talked to Dr. Novoa
and he told me why you want to take Mr. Carlos with you.
Yes, but I must admit I’m scared.
There’s no reason to be.
Dr. Novoa’s an expert.
If he said being around the family
would help Mr. Carlos recover, it’s because it’s true.
Should we be on guard?
Is he afraid the patient might become aggressive?
-Diana, do me a favor. -Yes, ma’am?
Bring me Mr. Carlos’ medicine.
Yes, ma’am.
I’m going to give you a very strong sedative.
It’s highly effective.
If the patient becomes aggressive
or he gets out of control, you can use it.
Thank you.
Don’t worry about it.
In a fire?
In a fire.
That’s what Colonel Granados said.
-I’m sorry. -She was my sister.
I know.
We’d known each other since we were little.
She really was my sister.
I can’t believe this happened to her.
I know, honey.
I know what you’re going through.
What about Daniel? Have you heard from him?
No, I don’t know.
Colonel Granados only talked about Ximena.
He didn’t say anything about Daniel.
She died in a fire
and without knowing what happened to her daughter.
It’s horrible, Santi.
I need to find out what happened.
I owe it to Ximena. She was my friend.
Do everything you can to make it happen
as long as you’re not in danger.
Why are you looking at me like that?
There’s something else, isn’t there?
There is.
What is it?
Titi called me.
I beg your pardon? Titi called you.
Yes.
-Titi Titi? -Yes.
Why’s he calling you?
Why does he even have your number?
-Please listen to me. -Isn’t that dangerous?
He called to tell me
that someone’s put a hit on my sister today.
What?
I need to talk to her and tell her that she’s in danger.
I love you.
Then marry me.
Are you serious?
Have you or haven’t you forgiven me?
I can’t believe it!
I’ve waited for this all my life.
Are you serious?
Yes! Do you forgive me?
Then marry me.
I will.
You will?
Yes, I love you.
I do! I’ll marry you!
It’s my sister.
Don’t answer that.
I won’t. Later.
I love you.
I love you more. So much more.
No, she’s not picking up.
What are you going to do?
Drive to her place and tell her what’s going on.
Be careful. It could be a trap.
I don’t think so.
Titi was very clear.
He said, “I’m giving you a heads-up
because I owe you my life.”
That’s why I don’t think it’s a trap.
Honey…
-Then I’ll go with you. -That’s not necessary.
It’ll be fast.
I’ll talk to her and come back.
You sure?
Certain.
Cata.
Really, and in the meantime… How about this?
Try to talk Mariana into taking that test.
She’s always listened to you more than she listens to me.
I’ll talk to her.
Alright. I love you.
-Call me if anything happens. -I will.
-No matter how small. -I will. Love you.
Tony, tell me you have good news.
Boss, it’s not good news.
What’s that supposed to mean?
It’s great news.
What’s going on? You’ve never talked like this.
She’s coming back.
Who is?
Catalina Santana’s rejoining the TEA.
You’re kidding.
Of course not!
She asked me to tell you.
Great! I knew she’d come back.
This is her life.

you’re NOT mentally ill. – Duration: 10:07. so this week I’ve been focusing on different mental health disorders and
talking about the different symptoms and things like that but when it comes to
mental illness I have one really big
what is everybody this is Chris from the rewired soul where we talk about the
problem but focus on the solution and welcome back to another week where I’m
talking about mental illness and different diagnoses alright and
yesterday I asked you to comment on my Instagram post and let me know which
diagnosis you would like me to talk about well you would like to be educated
about or what you think other people should be more educated about there’s a
lot of great answers and I’m definitely stockpiling them so now I know what kind
of content that you want but today’s topic actually comes from one of my
favoritest most loyal subscribers so be in this subscribe but we don’t always
agree on things but I do really appreciate how she is always more than
willing to leave honest feedback and she’s also more than happy to share her
experience with others or reach out and talk to others or let them reach out to
her so she could share her experience and help some other people so I love you
girl you’re awesome so this woman is psychedelic feline and after reading all
the comments on my Instagram post she said this from reading comments I think
would be helpful to make a video to help understand actual mental illness and
words that are thrown around so casually example anxiety vers feeling anxious
depression verse feeling depressed people claiming OCD when they’re just a
bit anal or perfectionist and bipolar verse everyday normal fluctuations in
mood or weather so yes yes yes I’ve been waiting like one of the reasons I
started this channel obviously was to decrease the stigma and I’ve been
waiting to make this video because like these are actual mental illnesses and
there’s so many people who just throw these words around all willy-nilly and
the problem with this is is that it really dilutes the subject when
everybody uses these terms but someone actually has this diagnosis people like
okay well do they just say they have OCD or do they just like to keep things in a
nice place but you know what I mean so I think it’s important as part of
increasing the stigma and increasing awareness we we choose our words wisely
and we’re careful do not just throw these words around so yes first off
there’s a difference between being depressed or being like sad or bummed
out now I do want to make it very clear like depression can come in certain
periods of your life so say for example you had a bunch of life’s of
circumstances maybe a death in the family and then you lost your job and
then you had a breakup and all these other things this can spiral you into a
depression but it’s not this kind of mental chemical imbalance it’s based on
life circumstances I’ve talked about that a lot in other videos this is
something that is a little bit easier to climb out of like people who have this
other type of depression where it’s because their brain isn’t creating the
proper neurotransmitters it’s much much different but the point I’m trying to
make here is like don’t keep using words like depressed because you’re just a
little bummed out that your favorite sports team loss or don’t say that
you’re depressed because your favorite Hollywood couple you know broke up or
something like that like although these things may mean a lot to you I seriously
doubt that you have difficulties and getting out of bed in the morning or
going to work because you’re just so broken up about it
next up maybe you’re stressed or worried but you’re not anxious you’re not having
anxiety this is much different everybody gets worried everybody gets
this kind of nervous feeling like before they publicly speak and things like that
anxiety clinical anxiety is debilitating it is difficult to do things it can
hinder your quality of life you might not be able to leave your house you
might not be able to go to work you might not be able to go to social
gatherings and situations it’s more than just being uncomfortable it’s completely
avoiding things and you’re not able to live your fullest amazing life when
anxiety is just weighing you down constantly
so like when something’s coming up and you’re just like oh this gives me
anxiety like calm down with that because it’s really diluting the word next up is
probably the one that’s thrown around more than anything else and that’s OCD
like this is the one that really bothers me
I show that I used to get into a lot was called obsessed
it’s actually the original show in which our hoarders was founded upon so some of
you might watch that show hoarders but there was a show called depressed I wash
I’m like man OCD is rough like it is like if you know somebody with legit OCD
like it is difficult it is very difficult because it is like these
compulsions and you will get in tanks anxiety if you don’t do certain rituals
or certain things so just because you like to you know make sure that this is
straight and this is straighter you’re not your house is nice and neat like
these you just think you’re a clean person congratulations you might be a
neat freak but this is not OCD like if there is something out of place can you
not sleep at night okay if you don’t do a certain ritual can you not perform
other tasks like people with OCD like I can’t even imagine like part of
addiction is very obsessive and compulsive but from what I’ve seen with
people with diagnosed OCD it is nowhere near what they go through so it breaks
my heart when I see people who are just like I like to keep my pens on this side
of my desk I’m really OCD about it I can need to knock that stuff out so
next is bipolar oh I’m so bipolar I’m bipolar no okay listen
our moods are constantly changing they’re constantly changing one thing
that I like about meditation is it relates it to kind of like what
psychedelic feet feel on set it’s kind of like the weather okay
depending on your day depending on your circumstances your moods can fluctuate
okay but like it’s not bipolar okay bipolar is another very difficult mental
illness that people struggle with and you need to really realize that like
people who Reese’s manic states and they do things that they wouldn’t normally do
they have these grandiose ideas and they they think that they’re untouchable and
invincible and things like that they a lot of people like with mania but more
so with hypomania like they get themselves in very dangerous situations
and then worst of all when it comes to that like the crash that depression that
comes along with it is very very rough for some people with bipolar disorder
this depression is worse than people who have just you know major to
massive disorder so like no you’re just having some mood fluctuations it’s not
bipolar okay and last but not least this is something like man like okay so how’s
a youtuber as somebody you know trying to grow an Instagram and stuff I
research I research different keywords and phrases and and hashtags and stuff
and like when I was looking up the word you just see so much nonsense on there
like what what like I get it I get it and like trust me I don’t mean to be all
snow flaky about this stuff but mental illness like that’s my thing am i you
know it’s very difficult seeing people just tossing this word around like
addiction is insanity like when you say like oh yeah I’m such a shoe addict
right right have you ever not bought your chil your child clothes or food so
you can get shoes right or like oh I’m such a coffee addict have you ever
stolen from your parents in order to get coffee like addict there’s something
that’s thrown around a time you know hey I get it like a lot of people doing this
and this is the thing this is why I make these videos it’s like no a lot of
people aren’t doing it in a malicious way they don’t mean any harm by it but I
have this channel to try to educate people let you know like hey this is
kind of hurting the issue like this is kind of hurting what we’re trying to do
with mental health and mental health awareness and all that kind of stuff
because people just keep throwing these words around the more we use it the less
these words mean so if you think about if we quit using these words so show so
much when you find out somebody’s actually OCD or bipolar
oh wow you have it you are you actually have that diagnosis because it’s not
being used every other five minutes right so like we got a look at other
social topics that are in our environment right now
like if you are a you know just for example like a white guy I’m actually
half african-american for those of you who didn’t know like imagine like a
Caucasian person going up to you know an african-american person saying oh yeah
man I know the struggle I know I get it no you don’t like you might have gone
through struggles but it’s completely different
Oh even better yet it’d be like me as a
male like if my girlfriend was going through you know her menstrual cycle or
something like that I started to be you know talking about that like if she gets
cramps I’m like oh yeah I got a crappy other day like no or like if somebody
went through child labor and they were talking about how painful and hard and
difficult that was or the nine months of carrying a baby I’m like oh yeah one
time I like twisted my back like what what like as a person like you get
offended by it or like think about a cancer patient who’s like going through
chemo and just costly sick and dealing with all that stuff
worrying about life and death and then they go through chemotherapy you’re like
oh yeah I used to throw up a lot when I had the flu like it
it seems really insensitive and that’s what we got to talk about this stuff
with mental illness like so do me a favor do me a favor like please share
this video and GK people let people know like hey you’ve got to kind of be
careful with that stuff because mental illness is a very serious serious thing
alright anyways again thank you so much the psychedelic feline for suggesting
this topic I’ve been meaning to make this video for a really long time
alright but if you like this video please give it a thumbs up and if you
are new here I’m always making videos to help you out with your mental and
emotional well-being go ahead and click that around subscribe button and a big

ACTIVISM IN SWEDEN: Lex Elin Ersson – Duration: 9:52. Hello, my name is Henrik Jönsson.
Today’s video is in english due to its international relevance
I’ll be back to Swedish with english subtitles next week.
Earlier this week, a young Swedish activist managed to suspend a
Turkish Aircraft carrier from departing Gothenburg airport by refusing to sit down.
The reason for this was to prevent a 52-year old man from Afghanistan who was also on the plane, from being deported.
I’ll use this incident as a starting point for a discussion on the law
subjective opinion and civil disobedience in Sweden.
Stay tuned!
The identity crisis of the formerly self-proclaimed “humanitarian superpower” Sweden
has in recent years been playing out for open curtains.
Providing the world’s most generous welfare system
combined with an open borders policy proved unsustainable in 2015
when the left wing government was forced to implement border controls
on the Öresund bridge, which connects Sweden with the European continent.
“The best way to help my local Green Party council representatives”
“Is… to do something after all.”
The border controls were controversial
and has led to an increasingly polarized debate climate in Sweden.
A vocal and influential identitarian minority across the political spectrum is now advocating civil disobedience
claiming the less open borders to be a violation of human rights.
On the other end of the spectrum, a seeming majority of voters are now turning to the authoritarian right
and siding with the Sweden Democrats on the issue of increasingly restrictive immigration.
In order to understand the present state of conflict
some background is necessary.
During the fall of 2015, the flow of asylum seekers and immigrants to Sweden reached unsustainable levels
with more than ten thousand refugees arriving weekly as the crisis peaked.
“It is not quite on a biblical scale, but an exodus it certainly is.”
In total, Sweden received over 162,000 refugees during 2015
overwhelming the department of immigration and vital infrastructure.
As a result, the asylum application processing times slowed to a crawl
as the majority of the asylum seekers had no way of proving their identities.
A large majority were also claiming to be under the age of 18
legally making them eligible for status as “unaccompanied children
granting them a higher probability of permanent residence status.
In another controversial move, age controls were gradually implemented during 2016
“Should refugee children and adolescents who arrive unaccompanied to Sweden”
“be put through medical tests to determine their age?” “Should refugee children and adolescents who arrive unaccompanied to Sweden”
“be put through medical tests to determine their age?”
and a vast majority of the asylum seekers had their age adjusted upwards
no longer deeming them acceptable to be defined as “children“.
“The majority of this group has had their age adjusted upwards by the immigration office”
“It has been adjusted upwards, but we can’t be sure that they’ve deliberately lied about their age.”
This led to massive protests from the left wing and the refugees
who initiated a month long strike in central Stockholm
refusing to accept the decision of the immigration court.
As deportations of those not deemed eligible for asylum are beginning to be carried out
the identitarian fringe is getting increasingly confrontational.
Last Monday, 21-year old activist Elin Ersson bought a ticket for a flight bound for Afghanistan via Istanbul
and refused to be seated unless she and the 52-year old Afghan man scheduled for deportation
were escorted off the flight together.
Miss Ersson filmed the whole incident on her smartphone, and the video quickly went viral.
“What I am saying is that I am not going to sit down until this person is off the plane.”
Swedish activists who engage in this type of “civil disobedience”
view themselves as operating in tradition of Martin Luther King and Rosa Parks
heroically and selflessly putting themselves at risk
opposing an oppressive and morally bankrupt system for the sake of the greater good.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
The civil rights movement activists were intensely knowledgeable about the law
and on how to work within the system to bring about change
letting activists stunts serve to draw attention to their issues and the work they were actually doing.
“All we say to America is: be true to what you set on paper!”
The Swedish identitarian movement is ill educated
and there is little actual work being done aside from the hot air blown about during
demonstrations, protests and civil disobedience like the one conducted by Ms Ersson.
In fact, Ms Ersson falsely believes her action to be “perfectly legal”.
“This is all perfectly legal. I have not committed a crime.”
Let me emphasize that it is absolutely NOT legal at all to prevent an international aircraft carrier from taking off.
Not only is it incredibly expensive, with each hour of delay incurring the carrier hundreds of thousands in airport fines
it is also arbitrarily inconsiderate for all the hundreds of people with connecting flights on the plane.
Actions like these are in violation of the aviation law
chapter 13, paragraph 4, section 10 and should result in heavy fines or prison up to 6 months.
This information is readily available on Google
and servers as an illustration on how ill-prepared and devoid of practical knowledge large parts of the Swedish activist movement really is.
Activist activity with no legal grounding render attention
but attention must not be confused with what effects real change
It is just noise.
On a side-note, it is a sign of the times that Ms Ersson the day after her video
set up a new facebook page establishing herself as a “lecturer”.
In my book, she actually scores some points for capitalizing on her virality here
but as for affecting change: no. it is all words and feelings.
In Sweden this type of activism is generally put on a pedestal of virtue
which both publicly elected officials and journalists engage in.
In 2014 representative of the Left party Malin Björk performed a similar protest
preventing a plane headed for Iran from taking off.
This move – paried with a wide-eyed conversation upon being confronted with its illegality
rendered her a lot of press and catapulted her political career into the European Parliament.
In 2011 member of parliament of the Centre-party, Abir Al-Sahlani
conducted an equally illegal deportation protest at Stockholm Airport.
Al-Sahlani was subsequently relieved from her duties on embezzlement charges.
In 2017, three journalists working for Public Service television were convicted for illegal people smuggling.
The list goes on.
There is nothing wrong with empathy and humanitarianism
on the contrary. But the decision to oppose the law requires through deliberation
preparation and deep knowledge in order to achieve the desired effect.
“I want the TRUTH!”
“You can’t handle the truth!”
The rule of law is difficult to change for a reason:
it is meant to withstand short-term opinions and feelings in order to uphold a principle of objectivity before which all citizens are deemed equal.
This is not to say that the law is infallible.
On the contrary, it is often very flawed indeed.
However if we wish to maintain a parlamentarian democracy
it is imperative that we respect the law and diligently and expertly work to change it through democratic processes.
“The world is perishing from an orgy of self-sacrificing.”
“My terms are: a man’s right to exist for his own sake!”
An activist protest like that of Rosa Parks became a powerful instrument of change because
it brought attention to the legal work being done by the civil rights movement.
Preventing random planes from taking off are superficial publicity stunts with no lasting effect
except for sacrificing the status of rule of law on the altar of arbitrary self righteousness and disrespect.
In fact it is likely counter-productive as the blanket of protection and freedom these activists rise and sleep under
gradually grows thinner as a result of their own doing.
Do you think the rule of law is more important than the feelings of individual citizens?

Cloth, Clothes, Clothing | Meaning & Pronunciation (UK & US) – Duration: 4:33. Hi guys, welcome back to English with Max. In this video we’re going to look at how
to pronounce these three words. Remember I’m Australian, but in this video I’m
just going to give you the standard British and American pronunciations.
I’ll start with the British one and then I’ll give you the American pronunciation.
The first word is cloth. Cloth. This has a voiceless TH at the end.
When I say the TH, there is no vibration here.
Cloth. Cloth. Cloth is basically a synonym of fabric. It’s woven material.
Clothes are made of cloth. These cushion covers are made of cloth. This is cloth.
Sheets are made of cloth, and so are towels. The American pronunciation is similar.
It’s just the vowel sound that changes. Americans say something like “cloth”. Cloth.
The second word is clothes. Clothes. I know, nearly
everybody learning English finds this word difficult, and I’ve already
spoken about it in one or two other videos. The TH sound in “clothes” is the
voiced TH. There is vibration here. Thhhh. The. The.
But in the word “clothes”, this sound is very short. It’s almost not
there. Clothes. Clothes. The sound after that is “zzz”, which is also a voiced sound.
Okay, so that’s how you say it if you want to say it very correctly. However if
you just find it too difficult, it’s perfectly fine to ignore the TH and to
just say “close”. Close. Like the verb “to close”. And to be honest, when native
speakers are speaking quickly, that’s normally what they say anyway. I also say
that quite a lot. Again, the American pronunciation is similar. It’s just the
vowel sound that changes. So instead of “clothes”, Americans say something like
“clothes”. Clothes. Or if you don’t want to pronounce the TH: close. Close.
The final word is clothing. Clothing. Clothing is basically just a synonym of clothes.
They mean the same thing, but clothing is more formal. We don’t say it very often,
but you’ll see it on signs and things like that. For example: Only three items
of clothing may be taken into the changing rooms. Or if you have to perhaps
get an x-ray or a scan, you might see: Please remove all clothing.
This also has the voiced TH sound. Thh. Thh. Thh. Clothing. Clothing.
In the American pronunciation, again it’s just the vowel sound that changes.
Clothing. Clothing.
That’s it guys. I know it was short, but hopefully it was helpful.
If you liked the video, as usual, please leave me a thumbs up,
and if you would like to leave me a comment, don’t hesitate to write one
in the comments section down below.
See you next time.

PORTABLE REFINER A COMPREHENSIVE GUIDE in No Man’s Sky NEXT – Duration: 10:58. Howdy folks, today we’re going to talk about Refiners, as even the Portable Refiner is
a must have for anyone playing the game.
Today I’ll go through all the recipes, the pros and cons as well as some known bugs.
So let’s start with the Portable Refiner itself.
You can build a Portable Refiner from your build menu with 30 Oxygen and 1 Metal Plate,
the Oxygen is easily gained from Red plants that glow and have bulbous flowers and can
be found on at least, most worlds.
You could also just buy the oxygen, it’s quite cheap and sold everywhere, same for the Metal
Plate, but if you need or want to make it, it’s just 50 Ferrite Dust gained from small
and medium rocks.
Once you have built your portable refiner, it can be picked up and held in your inventory
for later use, to put back down simply build it again through the menu, if you have one
in your inventory, it will place that down and not require the resources to build.
At the beginning it is quite useful to devote a slot to one, but as you go on, you will
be more prepared and likely not need one often, and as they are so cheap to build and you
will often have Oxygen on you anyway, it would likely be more preferable to just build and
leave.
The Portable Refiner has a single input, a fuel and an output.
The medium has 2 inputs and Large has 3, this allows for far greater and more extensive
recipes in the Medium and large.
Now, before we go into it’s best uses, here are all of the recipes I have tested, I’m
pretty sure I have tested every resource on the Portable refiner.
For simplicity, we’ll group these via what is produced, as what is produced is a far
smaller list than what you can refine.
First is Carbon;
Oxygen can be refined to Carbon with a 1:1 ratio
Whereas Condensed Carbon, Marrow Bulb, Kelp Sac, Frost Crystal, Cactus Flesh, Fungal Mould,
Gamma Root, Star Bulb and Solanium are refined to Carbon on a 1:2 Ratio
Carbon, of course, refines to Condensed Carbon on a 2:1 ratio
and Carbon Crystal refines to Condensed Carbon on a 1:150 ratio
This is a repeating pattern, as most of these resources have 3 forms, the basic, the refined
and then a rare crystal form which refines to 150 of the refined version, with a few
exceptions.
Cobalt to Ionised Cobalt with a 2:1 Ratio and back again for the opposite ratio, this
is helpful as there is no loss other than fuel.
tetra-cobalt refines to Ionised Cobalt on a 1:150 ratio.
Sodium goes to Sodium Nitrate with a 2:1 Ratio, but interestingly doesn’t go the other way,
I expect this is a bug or oversight that may be patched along with a number of other things
possible with refiners like Infinite resource loops, of which there is one for the Portable
Refiner.
Sodium also has a rare Crystal form called Destabilised Sodium that has the 1:150 ratio
Ferrite is a little different as it has an extra sub-basic version, this being Ferrite
Dust.
Ferrite Dust refines to Pure Ferrite at a 1:1 ration, whereas Pure Ferrite continues
the trend to Magnetised Ferrite on a 2:1 ratio and Rare Metal Element refines to Pure Ferrite
on a 1:150 Ratio
Magnetised Ferrite can go back to Pure Ferrite on the opposite ratio of 1:2.
Ferrite is definitely something you’ll want to refine for reasons I’ll go into shortly.
Di-Hydrogen is that infinite loop I was on about, it refines to Di-Hydrogen Jelly on
a 30:1 ratio, yet refines back to Di-Hydrogen on a 1:50 ratio.
If you intend to gain financially from this, you should consider the fuel you are using,
personally, it feels a little exploity, and I expect this along with the other infinite
loops to be patched at some point.
Salt refines to Chlorine on a 2:1 ratio
Chloride Lattice refines to Chlorine on a 1:150 ratio.
Now we’ve gone through the basics, the gases refine in a very costly tri-loop of 3:1, so
Radon refines to Nitrogen, Nitrogen Refines to Sulphurine and Sulphurine refines to Radon,
all of these refine at a ratio of 3:1, so should be avoided unless absolutely necessary.
Now for silver.
The Junk resources you find on green crates, the consoles of Abandoned Buildings and more
like Residual Goop, Runaway Mould and Viscous Fluids, refine to Silver on an awful 5:1 ratio,
but at least they have a use now, though not sure if it’s worth actually collecting it.
Rusted Metal is an exception here which turns to Ferrite Dust on a 5:1 Ratio making it even
less useful to collect, but at least it makes more sense.
Alloys also refine into large amounts of resources, such as Aronium, Herox and Dirty Bronze all
turning to Silver on a 1:250 Ratio.
But Lemium refines to Gold on a 1:125 ratio.
The higher ups like Iridesite turns to Platinum on a 1:500 ratio.
I have not had the chance to pick up some Geodesite, so, unfortunately, cannot confirm
what that turns into.
You should be warned that Magno-Gold and Grantine are very broken at the moment and will show
nothing in the output, yet allow you to refine, it will then take your Grantine or Magno-Gold
and return nothing, if you leave the Refiner screen and go back, it will display 250 Big
Ball, and any veteran players will likely know this as a placeholder broken icon.
This will render your Refiner useless and impossible to get rid of, my freighter has
one stuck there from my tests, I wish I’d done this testing on a planet in all honesty.
If we move to the Biome Specific elements like Dioxite, Uranium, Phosphorus, Paraffinium,
Ammonia & Pyrite, they all refine to Ferrite Dust on a 1:1 ratio, this is generally not
worth doing unless you really need to fuel your terrain manipulator and you somehow find
yourself on a world with no rocks.
Then for the big one, Chromatic Metal, this is required for building Warp Cells and many
other things and once you figure out how to make it, it’s all good as every system no
matter what has the resource to make it.
This is because it requires the Steller Resources, these are the resources that are specific
to star colour.
Yellow systems have Copper, Red has Cadmium, Green has Emeril and Blue has Indium.
These all refine to Chromatic Metal at different ratios.
They all also have a rare Activated version, this is planet-wide, so every so often, you’ll
see a planet in these star type systems that instead of say the usual Indium, will have
Activated Indium, the activated variant is worth double in units, and it refines at half
the input ratio, but unfortunately it also harvests at a terrible rate, so it is advised
that you not seek activated in order to refine to Chromatic Metal, it is far more efficient
to harvest the lesser variant.
Copper refines on a 2:1 ratio.
with it’s Activated variant refining on a 1:1 ratio.
Cadmium refines on a 1:1 ratio with the activated variant at 1:2
Emeril refines at 2:3 ratio with activated refining at 1:3
and Indium refines at 1:2 with it’s activated refining at 1:4
the last is Coprite which refines to Mordite on a 3:2 ratio
Mordite no longer drops from creatures on death, instead they drop carbon, and while
Mordite can still be gathered as a secondary resource, this could be a good method to get
some if you have the coprite, I’ve yet to dive into farming, so I cannot be certain
whether Mordite can still be farmed.
Out of resources, the one that cannot currently be refined using the Portable Refiner are
Sodium Nitrate, Chlorine, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Mordite, Chromatic Metal and Pugneum, all
other than Silver, Gold and Platinum are not elements, so this may be the reason, it may
be a logical choice, as say Condensed Carbon and Carbon Crystals are the same elements
with the atoms arranged differently.
It’s not a perfect theory, but it kinda fits.
Now as for tips and best practices.
The Portable refiner is a far lesser version than it’s Medium and certainly Large counterparts,
in the Medium and Large Refiners, you can mix many resources in order to achieve greater
ratios, so they are far more efficient, so firstly, you should only refine in this Portable
refiner, just what you need.
When it comes to Ferrite, as going from Dust to Pure is a 1:1 ratio, you should do your
best not to use the dust to recharge etc, the Terrain Manipulator requires 200 Ferrite
Dust to Charge, but only 50 Pure Ferrite and even better 20 Magnetised Ferrite, the differences
are huge, so if you have the patience, refine it.
Condensed Carbon is found in crystalline form, this makes it not possible to obtain without
the Advanced Mining Laser, so just refine some normal carbon to obtain.
The highly compressed versions of the basic resource like Rare Metal Element, tetra-cobalt,
Destabilised Sodium, Chloride Lattice, Superoxide Crystal and Carbon Crystal are found in the
wild in the form of the old elusive Omegon Crystals.
I’m unsure if they are planet specific, but I have found many on a lush Biomed planet,
specifically Overgrown ringed planet, but I would imagine that if it is specific, it
would only be biome specific, yet no proof of this yet.
They take a while and will alert the sentinels on destruction, so mine them until they have
hardly any durability left, then pop them all in one go, be sure you have bag space,
this stuff is valuable.
Regarding Chromatic Metal, you should gather the resource of the highest star type you
can get to, so preferably Indium from Blue star systems, as they require the same amount
of effort to harvest, but give a greater ratio from refining, ignore the activated for refining,
it’s not worth it for efficiency.
Iridesite may turn to a whole 500 Platinum, but be aware that as far as units go, it is
a massive drop in value.
If you have the Stasis Device blueprints and such, Iridesite is one of the 3 final material
required to craft, so consider saving them, same with Aronium, Magno-Gold and Grantine,
the latter 2 of which will bug your refiner anyway, those 3 alloys can be combined to
create Iridesite provided you have the Blueprint to do so.
These blueprints are still gathered from Manufacturing facilities as far as I can tell and Manufacturing
facilities can now be found far more easily, often popping up on the signal boosters first
free option.
Save your salt, Salt is an exceptionally valuable resource, it is required in huge amounts for
farming and can be used to gain great value in the better refiner variants, so I would
definitely advise saving it and not refining it.
Chlorine is found in abundance after all in Fungal Biomes and does not refine back.
As with Ferrite, you should refine your carbon to condensed carbon before using to charge.
The portable refiner is incredibly useful and essentially a pimped out Minecraft Oven,
the higher variants will certainly be covered in another video, but as they are unobtainable
to legacy saves that have already completed the base missions at the moment and the fact
that you’ll likely agree, this video is long enough as it is, I have not included them.
With multiple inputs, the potential recipe numbers are huge and not only that but they
can process materials that the portable refiner cannot.
So keep an eye out for that.
Also, more information on the individual resource is coming your way soon as it is a highly
requested subject.

The cost of BUYING a YACHT – Sailing A B Sea (Ep.027) – Duration: 13:09. What does it all cost? Quite a few people commenting either via our blogs or our
YouTube videos have expressed an interest in what it’s cost us so far to
get to the point of actual sailing.
So that’s what I’ll be breaking down in
this video. I’ll talk a little bit about our thought processes behind each decision
and also give you a cost of the individual items in Euros and also in
Australian dollars I’ll put those on the screen right here. I’m purposely not
including any of the scuba diving gear that we purchased which is quite
expensive but of course that’s a personal choice and it’s not going to be
everyone who’s going to be buying that sort of stuff so we’re leaving that out
for the purposes of this video. As permanent liveaboards with aspirations
of sailing back to Australia eventually we had an idea of certain things that we
wanted when it came to boat buying time. Let’s take boat lengths as an example.
Crossing oceans comfortably meant we wanted a vessel over 40 feet but we
didn’t want anything bigger than 47 feet because generally there’s just the two
of us on board unless of course we’re crossing an ocean then we would have
extra crew and sailing a bigger boat on a short-handed crew can be quite
difficult. The other factor about boat length is the maintenance and the haul
out berthing cost in marinas and of course the costs increase rapidly the
more footage you have in your boat. With that in mind we eventually bought a 1995
Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 45.1. Her length overall is 14.15
metres which is 46.42 feet so she just scraped into our size
rang. We paid 75,0000 euros which may have been a tad high but she is in
good condition for a 23 year old.
Condition of the vessel leads me on to our next major cost which is the
pre-purchase survey. This is a non-refundable expense which the buyer
pays in full so the key for us was to do a lot of online research in the key
things to look at when first inspecting a vessel. For example if she’s out of the
water does the hull show signs of blistering which is osmosis? If it does
then walk away as fast as you possibly can.
Other things to look for is there a lot of water in the bilge? Tracking down
leaks can be very time-consuming and quite expensive. How many hours are on
the engine? Does the engine compartment look clean and well-maintained? Is there
an actual service history record of the engine maintenance? Now if the vessel
passes the initial viewing and she’s obviously not falling apart now’s the
time to book you surveyor. A handy little tip here try and find a surveyor who’s not
associated with the marina or the broker that you’re buying from. This reduces the
risk of any bias. I would also say that if it’s practical and possible then you
should be there on survey day too so that you can follow your surveyor around
and ask lots of questions. It really is a great way to learn lots about your
vessel in a very short space of time. And the bonus is it also provides you with
lots of information for negotiating on the price once the complete survey is
issued. Our total surveyor cost was one thousand two hundred and forty euros
which is broken down like this: The pre-purchase survey was nine hundred
and ninety eight euros the sea trial was eighty two euros the travelling expenses
for the surveyor was 160 euros and also included in those prices is 21% Spanish
VAT of two hundred and fifteen euros. It’s also highly recommended to haul out
boat two days prior to the survey day. This is another cost that you’re
going to have to cover yourself and in our particular case with an extra two
days on the hard stand to let the hull fully dry before checking the moisture
levels our haul out the cost was five hundred and forty three euros.
As liveaboards with long distance cruising in mind there were certain
additions we wanted on our boat to make daily life easier
and to give us as much self-sufficiency as possible. The first thing we wanted
was a custom-made stainless steel davit on the stern of our vessel and basically
this is just to make life easy for two people raising or lowering the dinghy. A
secondary function of our stainless steel davits is that they serve as a mounting
for our solar panels. The total cost for the davits was four thousand seven
hundred and twenty-five euros – that is made and installed.
We also had 600 watts of solar panels installed and of course when it’s sunny
this provides us with all the electrical power we need to run our two computers,
watch movies, power the fridge and light us up like a Christmas tree at night. The
total cost for the materials and the installation of the solar panels was
three thousand two hundred and thirty three euros and it breaks down like this:
Four x 150 watt polycrystalline panels – one thousand one hundred and thirty six
euros. A 12 volt 50 amp MPPT controller – 320 euros a 220 volts 800 watt inverter 315 Euros
A Victron BNV 700 battery monitor – 187 euros. Cables connectors and
sundry items – 284 euros and the labour of 413 euros. There is also again 21%
Spanish VAT of 561 euros that gets added on to those prices.
In previous blogs and YouTube videos we’ve gone into details as to why we
bought some of the next things on the list that I’m about to talk about so I
won’t rehash those details here. These are some of the vital things you’re
gonna need just for everyday living on the boat. We bought a Zodiac Cadet 330
dinghy that was two thousand two hundred and forty nine euros. To go with the
dinghy we bought a mercury eight horsepower
four-stroke engine – that was two thousand three hundred and five euros. A vital
piece of safety equipment is of course your life raft and we bought a brand new
four person Aramir Open Sea 9650 life raft and the cost for that was 1670 Euros
As liveaboards one of our decisions is to stay away from costly
marinas as much as possible so we invested quite heavily in our anchor
because when we drop it we want to know that when we wake up in the morning
we’re gonna be in exactly the same place as when we started the night. We decided
on a Mantus 38 kilo 85 pound galvanized anchor and that cost us one thousand
three hundred and four euros. However because it had to be imported into Spain
we also got slapped with an import tax of 300 euros. Now the Mantus anchor is a
big anchor, that’s why it does its job so well and lots of other cruisers have
reported having to make modifications to their bow rollers or of the bow area in
general. We were no different and we had to make some modifications to our
stainless steel pulpit to make the Mantus fit and work properly and the
cost for that was 360 euros. We also had A B Sea’s standing rigging completely
replaced but in negotiations Jose and ourselves agreed that we would cover the
cost of that 50/5. So our 50 percent cost us 3044 euros. There were a lot of
incidental things that were purchased and fitted along the way too and these
collectively added up to 21 hours of labour. They included things like
antifouling, offshore fleurs, anode replacement and spare anodes, 150 metres
of extra line water and diesel jerry cans etc, etc and in total they added up to
3540 euros
The whole boat survey took about nine hours and at the end of the day our
surveyor announced that generally our boat was in really really good condition.
A week later we received the written survey report and then proceeded to
share this with Jose the broker. This is where a good relationship with your
broker and a willingness from both parties to negotiate and compromise is
essential. So what I’ll do here is just list the items that we negotiated with
Jose as to being replaced or repaired at his cost. Usually if you negotiate it
correctly it is the owner of the vessel that will cover these costs. In our
unique case Jose was the owner of the boat because he’d taken her in part
exchange for a brand new Hanse that he was selling to the previous owner. The
following items are the ones that Jose agreed to cover the cost of: Replacement
of five through holes and sea cocks that were badly corroded, one of them actually
had the handle snapped off; removal of the rusty rudder stock quadrant and
replacement with a brand new custom-made stainless steel quadrant; several small
fiberglass repairs were made around the boat and in particular quite a nasty
little chip out of the bottom of the rudder; the complete hot water system was
replaced; the three service batteries and one engine battery were all replaced; the
cooling element and compressor for the fridge was completely replaced; the bilge
pump float switch was replaced; some loose stanchions and the teak handrails
were firmly secured; the vessel was removed from the Spanish ship registry
and also there was a background check to make sure there were no outstanding
debts or fines on the vessel. Jose also agreed to investigate and repair the
cause of a pressure loss in the freshwater system; the green navigation
light was fixed and the steaming light and deck floodlight was replaced; all of
the flexible hoses on the gas system were replaced and as I mentioned
previously Jose paid 50% towards the cost of replacing the standing rigging.
Another thing to take into consideration is that while all this work is getting
done you will have berthing costs for the vesse. In our particular case all
the repairs replacements and installations took three months and Jose
agreed to pay two months of the berthing cost if we covered one month. And just as
a little side note here, the marina at Las Salinas cost 800 euros a month
that included electricity water and Wi-Fi.
How much you decide to spend on individual items is a personal choice
and of course it is restrained by your budget. We didn’t skimp on important
things like the life raft, life jackets and the dinghy and outboard. After all
what price do you put on your own life? Laabour costs are fairly high in Spain and
if we’d had the knowledge and the tools available to us then we might have
tackled some of the labour work ourselves but you have to work with what you’re
given and overall we are very happy with the experience we had in purchasing A B Sea.
And we’re extremely happy with Jose and his team at Marina Estrella Murcia. After
three months in the marina we’re now sitting at anchor off a beautiful beach
in Formentera in the Spanish Balearic Islands. But it didn’t come cheap, the
total cost for everything so far is ninety nine thousand five hundred and
forty three euros. I’ll now include a complete list of the figures I’ve just
talked about for the number-philes and for those of you who may be considering
taking this same journey that we’ve begun. If you have any questions please
leave them in the comment section down below, I’m very happy to answer them for
you and if you like this video don’t forget to give us a thumbs up and

How to Know if a Parakeet Is Right for You – Duration: 6:37. Parakeets are friendly birds that have made great pets for bird-lovers all over the world.
A parakeet is more than just a pretty thing to look at, though.
Bringing a parakeet home means making it part of your family.
These social birds will want to play, chew, talk, and be in a home where they can bond
with people.
They also have regular needs for which you will have to provide.
If you are willing to put the time in to socialize and care for one, though, a parakeet may be
the pet for you.
Decide if you are ready for a 15-20 year commitment.
You’ll need to account for a parakeet’s lifespan before deciding to get one.
A healthy parakeet can live for 15-20 years, which is more than many cats or dogs and most
small mammals, but less than larger birds like parrots.
If you plan to travel or make lifestyle changes in the future, a parakeet might not be the
best pet for you.
Determine if you can handle their personality.
While personality varies from bird to bird, most parakeets share two values: they are
social, and they are stubborn.
When a parakeet is let out to play, it will want to socialize directly with you.
It will also want to chew and peck around the house, and will leave droppings anywhere,
including on the furniture and on you.Parakeets are intelligent and can be hand-trained.
Consider if this is something that appeals to you or not.
Consider the noise level.
Parakeets don’t squawk all of the time, but they will make a loud screaming noise
at least once a day for several minutes on end, up to half an hour.
If there is someone in your home who needs lots of sleep, like a child, or is otherwise
sensitive to noise, a parakeet might not be the right pet.
Determine how much time you can commit.
Parakeets are friendly, social bird, meaning that they need daily attention.
You need to be able to commit time every day to cleaning your parakeet’s cage, changing
out food and water bowls, and socializing with it by playing, talking, and hand-training
Prepare to have multiple birds.
Unless there is someone in the home in the house to socialize with most of the time,
your parakeet will probably want a friend.
Think about whether you are ready to keep 2 birds at one time, which will double the
noise, social time, and clean-up, but also double the love and affection.
Evaluate your household activity.
Parakeets are easily stressed, and susceptible to hurting themselves or weakened immunity
when anxious.
If you move frequently, or have an active household such as one with small children,
it may be difficult to keep your parakeet healthy.
Consider your other pets.
Having a cat, dog, snake, or other predatory pet could be a risk for your parakeet.
While many homes have multiple types of pets, it requires very careful attention to every
interaction.
Think about the demeanor of your current pets.
Even a well-trained cat or dog who just wants to play could accidentally hurt your parakeet.
Measure the space you have to give the bird.
While some choose to keep parakeets in small cages, they are typically much happier in
larger environments.
Make sure you have room in your home for a cage that is large enough to fit your parakeet,
it’s food and water dishes, multiple toys, and multiple perches, and still give the bird
room to fly.
Factor in your time away.
Parakeets aren’t birds that can be left alone if you travel or are away from home
frequently.
Think about whether you have someone you trust to come feed and check on the bird.
Avoid getting a parakeet if someone in your home has health issues.
Consider if you or anyone in the family has a weak immune system.
Birds can carry diseases that don’t make them sick but can be passed onto people, such as
giardia and campylobacter.
If someone in your home has a weak immune system, a pet parakeet may not be appropriate
for your circumstances.
Add up regular expenses.
On top of initial set-up, keeping a parakeet will require you to regularly buy food, chew
toys, treats, new bowls, and supplements like mineral blocks.
These are not typically high-cost items, but you still need to be prepared to regularly
spend money on your bird.
On top of that, you may have unexpected vet costs if you notice your parakeet show symptoms
of an illness.
Account for increased heating and air conditioning bills.
Parakeets tend to prefer a temperature between 65° F and 80° F (18° C and 26.5° C).
If you live in an area where it tends to get very cold or very hot, your parakeet may require
you to turn up your climate control systems, which could boost your energy and/or gas bills.

My Life is Over. I’m Pregnant – Duration: 5:35. My life is over… I’m pregnant.
It was graduation day and even though the sky was grey and gloomy,
Polly, my best friend and I did not let it get us down.
When arrived to Ben’s house for the graduation house party, we couldn’t be more excited.
Bring down the rain and thunder, we’re here to have fun.
I sat down to greet two of the girls from school in one of the rooms and took a look around.
It was only 8pm and it seemed everyone was already tipsy.
Polly disappeared to get some drinks and looks like the boys a year below us are helping her out.
I decided to talk a walk through the dance floor where everyone was just going crazy
because of the insane sound system Ben had.
I walked through and found Matt, my boyfriend.
The minute he saw me, he shot through the crowd and held me like we hadn’t seen each other in years.
I literally had just seen him in the afternoon.
He took my hand and we went together to the couch where I told him proudly about how well
I did in my interview with the university.
So well in fact, I was accepted!
After he heard that, he congratulated me and went to pour me a drink.
Normally, I would just say no because I don’t really handle alcohol very well.
I would just say that I have to go home and I don’t want my mom to smell it on
me, but I thought no, not this time.
I was so proud of myself that I go into university that I think a little congratulations are in order.
So, cheers!
First it was one glass, then it was another, and another and another.
The more I drank, the more my consciousness and memory faded away.
The one thing that did stay was how hot and intense it felt to touch and kiss him.
As we kissed, he led me to one of the bedrooms with one hand opening the door
and the other rubbing around under my top.
The alcohol just made me forget everything.
All I could think about was all the new sensations that was happening to me.
The short intense pleasure from sex was something that I had never experienced before.
When we made our way onto the bed and made love,
I didn’t even for a second think about the consequences that would follow…
About a month after that, I started to feel strange.
While I was helping my mom cook, I smelled something that made me nauseous.
But I had been under a lot of pressure from university and not to mention all the stress
from exams and college applications from before, so that had to be what it was… right?
It was alarming when I realized that my period hadn’t come in almost a month
and I started to feel nauseous and tired more and more.
I had to call Matt.
Since that night, we hadn’t been talking much.
When we spoke he told me that he didn’t wear a condom because it felt better for me without it
and it’s just one time, what’s the harm?
So I told him what’s been happening and the thing that could be the cause…
He went quiet and hung up.
I tried to call him back but he wouldn’t answer and eventually his phone was turned off.
I just curled up and cried.
I was scared and completely lost.
So I called Polly and she ran out to get a pregnancy test and then everything I feared
came true.
My dream of being a social worker just crumbled before me.
There’s no way I can go back to university now.
It’s over.
My life is over.
Because I’m pregnant.
When I couldn’t hide it anymore, I had to tell my mom.
I really didn’t know how she would react.
She raised me as a single mother and worked all her life to give me the opportunities she never had.
And look at where that got her.
When I told her, the look on her face and the tears streaming down her eyes
felt like a knife was stabbing deep into my heart.
What a terrible of a daughter I am.
But quickly, she pulled me close and comforted me with words I didn’t expect she’d say.
She told me that everything is going to be fine and that we would get through this together.
The 3 of us.
Patty, Patty, Patty! Someone was trying to wake me up
It was Polly. “Wha…what happened?” I was so confused and my head was killing me
Polly then explained that I was so drunk last night and when Matt said he was going to take me to bed,
she told him that it wasn’t a good idea because I was too drunk and so was he.
So, she stayed with me the entire night to make sure I was okay
I completely blacked out and don’t remember any of this!
My dream could have easily become a reality if it wasn’t for Polly looking out for me that night.
On my way out, I went to say bye to Matt who seemed pretty upset about last night.
I guess it really bothered him because he broke up with me the next day and started seeing someone else.
It was okay though because Polly was with me the entire time helping me through the break-up
and reassuring me that everything would be okay.
3 weeks later, while my mom was driving me to my school orientation, she gave me “the talk”
seeing as I would be entering my first year at university. Out of all places, it was in the car…
But I didn’t mind because, after that dream, I realized how important it is to practice safe sex
no matter the situation or circumstances.
Not only does it prevent unwanted pregnancies but also from sexually transmitted diseases as well.

10 common English Idioms & Expressions from Education – Duration: 7:51. Hi.
Welcome to engVid.
I’m Adam.
In today’s lesson I want to teach you eight idioms that come from education.
Actually, I have 10 of them, a couple of them are just expressions, though, so I can add
them to the other ones.
Eight idioms.
All of these come from education, but now we use them to talk about other things that
might not be related to education at all.
Okay?
So, as you know, idioms are groups of words, they’re expressions whose individual words,
when they’re put together might not mean the exact same thing as the words themselves.
They can have completely unrelated meanings, and we’re going to see some examples of these.
So we’re going…
We have a lot of ground to cover, so we’re going to go slowly but surely through it all.
So, what does it mean “to cover a lot of ground” or “have a lot of ground to cover”?
It means to have a lot of material or a lot of information to get through, and understand,
and make sure everybody gets.
Right?
When we cover a lot of ground, technically it comes from the ground, and you cover ground
means you move, you travel.
But we use “ground” as information, and “cover” means go over.
So: “cover a lot of ground”, get through a lot of information.
Also, we “can’t teach an old dog new tricks”.
So what does it mean, you can’t teach an old dogs a new trick?
So imagine your grandfather, okay?
You are moving to another country because you’re studying English, you want to immigrate
to another country.
You get to that country and you want to continue speaking with your grandfather in your home country.
So you’re trying to teach him Skype or you’re trying to teach him, like, a mobile app, messenger, whatever.
But your grandfather is trying, trying, trying, he just doesn’t get it.
And then finally he says: “You know what?
I don’t care.
We’ll call each other on the telephone once in a while.”
So finally you give up, you say: “You know what?
You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.
We’ll just call on the phone.”
It means as people get older, it’s very difficult to change their habits.
Okay?
We’re not calling old people old dogs, it’s just an expression, but basically old people
don’t change habits very easily.
You can’t teach them, so that’s where the education comes in.
Now, something or someone is “old school” or he or she belongs to an “old school of
thought” or to a particular school of thought.
So, if somebody is old school, he or she likes something that is a little bit old-fashioned,
likes to do something a little bit old-fashioned, something that’s probably outdated, not modern.
Okay?
Now, it doesn’t have to be about a person.
It could be a thing.
So, for example, if you…
For example, if you go to Cuba…
Okay.
Cuba has a lot of old cars from the 1950s. Okay?
Like Chevys, and Fords, and whatnot.
We can say: “Oh, wow, that’s a really old-school car.”
It has the old engines, nothing computerized.
It’s all carburetor and all kinds of pipes all over the place.
It’s very old school.
It’s very cool, but it’s not modern. Okay?
So it’s something that’s old school.
When we talk about a school of thought, it means it’s a particular way of viewing something
or thinking about something.
We especially use it to talk about, like, philosophy.
Okay?
But even in science there are certain scientists who basically subscribe to this particular
school of thought.
So, we use the word “subscribe”, means they believe in doing it this way.
Other scientists subscribe to this school of thought.
So, the…
There was a scientist who said: “This is the way we should do it.”
There was another scientist who said: “This is the way we should do it.”
All the people who follow this way created a school or a viewpoint, they created their
own viewpoint.
So different schools of thought.
So, if we’re talking about how to discipline children, okay?
Some people like to sit their children down and talk, talk, talk for hours to try to teach
them something. Other…
In other cultures they just slap them on the bum, the kid understands, never does it again.
The slapping thing is a little bit old school, we don’t really do that anymore, but it comes
from an old school of thought where punishment creates discipline.
That’s…
I’m not getting involved in the actual question, that’s up to you.
I’m just telling you the expressions.
“Learn the ropes”.
Okay?
So, if somebody needs to learn the ropes, they need to learn how to do something.
So when you join a company for the first time, at the beginning you don’t know where the
copy machine is, you don’t know where the fax machine is, you don’t know how to do things
around the office, so at the beginning you have to learn the ropes, learn how everything
works, and then you become adjusted.
I think it actually comes from sailing, I’m not sure.
All kinds of different ropes you need to learn how to use them to sail your boat, but basically
it means adjust to a new situation, get to know it, move on.
Now, if you’re going to “teach someone a lesson”, it means you’re going to punish them.
Okay?
“I’m going to teach you a lesson you won’t forget.”
Right?
So somebody did something bad to me, and I want to get revenge, I want to teach them
a lesson.
I want to punish them so they understand that what they did to me was bad and I’m going
to do something worse for them.
Now, the other side: “to learn a lesson”.
Of course, you go to school, your teacher teaches you and you learn the lessons, but
when we say: “Oh yeah, I really learned a lesson from that experience”, it means you
went through a bad experience, usually, and you learned from it so you will not repeat
it again.
So it’s not necessarily punishment, but it was a bad experience that you will avoid.
To teach someone, somebody did something bad to you and you will get revenge, you will
punish them for it.
“To school someone”, now, realistically you can interpret this as to teach someone something.
Right?
To school someone in etiquette, means to teach them etiquette or to teach them behaviour, etc.
These days it’s used as a slang term, it means to embarrass somebody.
So if I’m playing basketball with a friend of mine and, you know, I’m trying to do all
these things and then suddenly he just steals the ball and he goes and does a 360 slam dunk,
he schooled me.
He showed me how real basketball players play and I am nothing.
So he embarrassed me, he schooled me in basketball or any situation.
Okay?
“‘A’ for effort”, good job, nice try, but sorry, you’re not hired.
You failed.
You didn’t do the work properly.
So if somebody says: “You get an ‘A’ for effort”, it means: “I really appreciate that you tried
so hard, but it’s not very good.
You didn’t really succeed. Sorry. Bye.” Right?
“A” for effort, “B” or “C” or “D” or “F” for actual accomplishment.
Now, “to make the grade”.
If somebody makes the grade, it means they reached a certain quality or a certain level.
Right?
So, if you think about the army and you…
I’m sure all of you have seen enough Hollywood movies that you know what Navy Seals are.
So, Navy Seals are, like, Special Forces, they’re very tough, very strong, very hardworking soldiers.
Not everybody can be a Navy Seal.
Many soldiers try, but only a few make the grade.
They reach that level of ability that they can join the Navy Seals.
Right?
So, “make the grade” also comes from school.
To get into university, you need a 3.4 GPA, for example.
If you don’t make that grade, 3.4, you don’t get into university.
But now we use this expression for all kinds of things about reaching a certain minimal
level quality, ability, etc.
So, if you have any questions about these, please go to www.engvid.com and ask me in
the forum there.
There’s also a quiz you can take to practice your understanding of these idioms.

DEAR MATÉ 05 : My skincare & haircare routine|피부 & 헤어 케어는 어떻게 해요? – Duration: 5:48. Gosh, so hot.
Hi, it’s Mate!
I got more questions since last video so I brought another video.
I got a lot of questions on skincare and haircare routine.
My skin type in between oily and combination type.
I don’t particularly visit a dermatologist for special treatments.
I heard I better start it at this age….
My hair isn’t naturally curly. I permed it.
Most of you would already know this but I still get questions on my hair sometimes.
My hair wasn’t curly in my old videos.
I’ll do the hair tutorial at the end of the video.
I’ll start with the skincare routine.
I gotta wash my face and hands in prior to the skincare!
I just shake off the water on the face without wiping off with a towel
Then pat the rest in to the skin.
Then I don’t touch it with hands to keep it clean.
In the morning, I wipe the face off with a gentle pad as you’ve seen before.
I pay extra attention on the areas that produce lots of sebum
Then I apply hydrating toner, essence and serum and let them sink in to the skin.
Then put a sun block and go straight in to makeup.
Since I have oily skin and the weather is hot now,
The makeup melts down fast if I use more skincare products.
It’s been so hot lately… apparently, Seoul was hotter than Africa yesterday.
I do very simple routine for night skincare in summer.
I’ll do a separate video for winter skincare routine later!
I repeat the same steps then add few things.
I have few different routines. I’ll show some that I do more often.
For the first routine, I use a facemask.
Consistent use of facemask will change your skin
This is based on my experience.
I leave masks on for a long time. I tend to leave it till it completely dries down.
I leave it on for 30~40 minutes.
Then I pat it in with clean hands.
If you press it in for too long to completely absorb everything,
The heat of the hands will take all the ingredients away.
So I only pat in for a bit.
Then I put thick layer of lip sleeping mask on the lips
And put tiny bit around the eyes as I use it as eye cram as well.
I don’t know I can do this though…
I use it on the eyes as it feels very nourishing.
For the second routine, I use a thicker serum or essence
Then finish off with the same lip sleeping mask on the eyes and lips.
I’m trying different routines too.
I try different masks such as gel mask and sleeping mask
Some people use same skincare products for years once they find something that works for them.
It’s better for your skin health to switch off skincare products in every 3 months
Rather than sticking with one products.
It’s good to try different products!
I take vitamins and omega 3 for my skin and general health support.
Though I often forget, I try my best to take them as much as I can
Let’s move on to the hair care routine.
There’s nothing special…
Since I perm my hair tight, it’s hard to brush. It tangles all the time.
I’m too lazy to do consistent haircare.
I use a treatment before shampoo first for twice a week.
I only dry 70% of my hair instead of drying it completely
Then put hair essence on.
I used up my hair essence so I tried a body lotion as a first aid and it worked well.
I’ve been using the body lotion since then! You get a lot more as well…
When I used this lotion on my body, Minah said I smell like Churros.
You might now like this scent but I really like this scent!
Then I blow dry the roots and leave it like that.
My hair shape will be set with moist. It doesn’t become frizzy.
It gathers in streaks which looks bouncier.
That’s it for my skincare and hair care routine.
Don’t hesitate to leave comments if you have any question.
I will leave kind reply as much as I can on the questions that I can answer.
I hope you find this video helpful!
Thank you! Bye~
