CodeAmber.org Partners with Meteorlogix to Broadcast Amber Alerts
In Public Transportation Centers and Other High Traffic Areas
Over 22,000 Monitors Will Carry the Messages Nationwide
Mandeville, LA - CodeAmber.org and Meteorlogix today announced their partnership to further the effectiveness of Amber Alerts nationwide. CodeAmber currently has a network of over 55,000 websites receiving the live java script "ticker." The ticker is viewed nearly 750,000 times a day.
President and founder of CodeAmber, Bryant Harper, states, "With nearly half of abducted children being recovered hundreds of miles away, it is absolutely imperative that we put the information where the child could be!" In addition to providing the live ticker, CodeAmber also provides a link between law enforcement and media in adjoining states by taking into account that a child could be moving at 60 miles per hour and calculating accordingly.
Through Meteorlogix's satellite weather delivery equipment, more than 22,000 weather systems across the nation will be able to send the alerts.
