Leaders in Child Safety meet in Kissimmee to discuss Children and the Internet

· Tampa, FL - February 5, 2004: The International Web Police will hold its 6th annual child safety conference in Kissimmee, Florida on Saturday, March 6, 2004. The focus of the conference is to discuss ways to make the Internet safer for children.

· This event will be held at the Rodeway Inn located at 5995 West Irlo Bronson Highway (Highway 192) in Kissimmee, Florida. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. The conference begins at 9:00 a.m. and will end at 5:00 p.m. Representatives from several prominent organizations will be in attendance to present proposals that will allow children to safely surf the Internet. Featured speakers are Code Amber’s Director of Communications, Linda Spagnoli. Code Amber distributes Amber Alerts throughout the United States and Canada. Also in attendance will be Child Watch of North America’s National Director, Jeff Griesemer. Child Watch of North America is located in several Chapters across the United States and was formed in 1992 to help prevent child abductions. Additionally, there will be Electronic Finger Printing for the Children provided by McGruff Safe Kids. Child entertainment includes a moon bouncer provided by Tropical Fun Rentals. In addition to our speakers will be Ken Tipton out of Orlando with Keeping Internet Kids Safe and Dick Impala with the Cheney Bush Campaign.

· This event is open to the public, media, government officials and organization representatives. Seating is limited and advanced reservations are highly recommended. There is no charge to attend. Organizations wishing to set up booths should contact us for details.
