Concerned citizens will receive graphically rich, real-time mobile messages of Amber Alerts and Code Amber Alerts containing a description of the missing person or abducted child. The alerts include; vehicle information, suspected abductor and the ability to post a sighting to the CODE alert center for a child reported missing or a Silver Alert for a lost senior suffering from dementia. The Code Mobile alert App can be downloaded from iTunes App Store or for other phones like the BlackBerry or Google Android, directly from the Code Amber News Service website.
Statistics show more than 2,300 people are reported missing daily in the US and that the first 4 hours are most critical to a successful recovery. Code Mobile Alerts are distributed to subscribers in real-time and sorted by State utilizing the phone's GPS. The alert sent to a subscriber places their phone proximate to the incident and in a timely manner.
